Rebuilding Together

The St. Louis City and greater St. Louis area Jaycees are co-sponsoring a house for Rebuilding Together Work Weekend on April 30, 2011. We are still looking for volunteers! Work will start around 8 am and extend into the afternoon. Please email House Captain Bret Kuhlman (bret.kuhlman@gmail.com) if you would like to volunteer.

Rebuilding Together is a national volunteer organization working to revitalize neighborhoods in partnership with the community by rehabilitating houses of low-income homeowners, particularly elderly and disabled individuals. This helps them to continue living independently, with enhanced safety, comfort, and energy efficiency. As the economic pressure on low-income families grows, more and more families are placed in the position of choosing between vital necessities and essential home repairs and modifications.
